POSTER COLLECTIONS
Understanding Graphic Design history, posters are an essential time capsule of design. From my early project of 'FRIENDS THROUGH THE AGES' creating vector based illustrations in the style of the 20s, 50s and 70s, to an illustrated poster of female icons, and a personal 'Wunderkammer', I grew very fond of the art of poster design.

The Process
Especially the 'FRIENDS' series was what got me interested in design history through the view of poster design. Within my second semester at Macromedia University this series was created. It taught me to let go of my perfectionism and learn to enjoy the process first. To not find the perfect design from the first trial, but to test multiple iterations and accept constructive criticism as what it is - helpful feedback. I fell in love with Illustrator and Procreate, creating digital art and understanding vector illustrations. 'FRIENDS' as a series also speaks to me as a young woman in their 20s, this project allowed me to pay tribute to a personal inspiration and idols from my childhood.
